Rebecca Cawood | Chair & Non-Executive Director

Rebecca Cawood is the Director of the Office of Strategy Management at the University of New England (UNE), where she has built a distinguished career over 14 years, including roles as Manager of Corporate Planning and Performance and Chief of Staff. With extensive experience in public policy, strategic communications, and corporate governance, Rebecca has also contributed her expertise as a Board Member and Chair of Finance and Compliance at The Armidale Waldorf School. She holds a master’s degree in politics and Public Policy from Macquarie University and has a background in beef and wool production from her time at JR Pastoral Co. As a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Rebecca’s broad skill set and deep commitment to strategic development make her a valuable asset to the UNE Life Board.
