The Shop on campus at UNE has a large selection of Unit Equipment that can be purchased online and posted to you in advance, or you can order, browse and purchase in person while you are here.
It is a good idea to organise your Student ID Card with Safety Security & Information before your stay to ensure you have easy access to any of the rooms your classes may be in, or any resources you may need.

We understand the additional expenses faced by online students when travelling to Armidale. To ease the burden, we’re offering complimentary parking in the Blue and Purple bays (only)* for students during the specified Intensive School periods listed below:
*Please be aware that parking officers will issue tickets to vehicles without a valid ticket parking in bays other than Blue and Purple.
At any other time throughout the year, purchase short-term parking tickets ( 1 hour to 7 days) from the Strada Mobile Parking App . Virtual permits on the app can be bought in advance, saving time on arrival.
Throughout intensive school periods, UNE Life Safety, Security & Information will be available. Identifiable by the UNE Life or UNE Life Safety & Security logo on their shirts. They are here to assist with parking, wayfinding and any safety or information concerns.
The College Safety Shuttle is a free service for students to travel to and from their college to reach essential services in the center of Armidale. It departs from Austin College, UNE, roughly every half-hour from start time. This service is available with the exception of public holidays.
To access this service, you will need your valid student ID card.

The main Armidale campus is comprised of the Academic Campus and Bellevue Campus. The Academic Campus (also known as ‘up top’) is the centre for teaching and research, and is located in the northern section of the Armidale campus. The Bellevue Campus, located in the southern section includes most of the residential colleges, and sporting facilities.

University of New England Heritage Centre
Visit the Dixson Library or Armidale Teachers’ College (in town) for historical exhibitions and displays from the UNE archives and art collections.
The Guided Heritage Tour is a two and a half hour taster of Armidale. You will be taken on a historical journey through Armidale with a lively and personal commentary from one of the tour guides. There are four opportunities to alight from the bus – at the New England Regional Art Museum, Aboriginal Cultural Centre, the Armidale Railway Museum, and the University of New England’s historic Booloominbah Homestead.
